Writer’s block is often imagined as a barricade in the mind, a dead end where the road simply stops. In reality, it is usually nothing more than a bump in the road, a character choice or a chapter that has not fully revealed itself yet. The story hesitates because something does not feel right, not because it is broken. Once the writer takes the time to think around that bump and adjust the path, the ride smooths out again. The story moves forward in a way that feels honest, not only to the author, but to the reader traveling alongside them.
