Hello everyone, this is James J. Yasso, The Highway Scribe.
This is Chapter 1 from the road. I wrote my first novel, *In the D*, which is the first book in my multi-volume saga *At the Edge of Extinction*. The story follows families across generations, faith, identity, culture, desire, and the fight between who we are and who we pretend to be. It took me 12 years of reading, writing, driving highways, and living life to shape the voice behind this series.
